Honghui Lactic acid powder is the powder form of natural L-Lactic acid formation from Glucose sugar. It’s a formulation mix powder contains ingredients of lactic acid(approx. 60%) and calcium lactate(approx. 40%). It’s a white granules or powder, has a natural mildly lactic acid flavor, slightly hygroscopic in the air. It’s soluble in water with pH(10% solution) of lactic acid powder 55% pH 3.2-3.4 and lactic acid powder 60% pH 3.1-3.3.

II product Applications


1, Confectionary

Lactic acid powder is used as sour flavor agent in the confectionary candy industry. It can make candy surface slightly white apperance, with long-lasting moderate acid flavor, improve the natural flavor of candy, make the sweetness more durable. It not only make the mouth taste smooth, it also can enhance the calcium ions. It also can be used for sour sanding confectionery to avoid the surface wet during shelf life because of the low hygroscopicity of the acid powder. Give the acid sanded candy with a good appearance. Dosage: 0.5-3%

Its annual demand is 1000-1500 tons in the United States and Europe market.


2, Seasonings
